“CLOUDING MY MIND“
Clouding my mind – is a state when thoughts, like enemy ships, take over my consciousness. These thoughts seem to be mine and not mine, where have they come from, what do they want from me? Sometimes there are so many of them that the light in the sky becomes barely visible. Obscurations – like dark clouds occupy all my attention until a fresh wind disperses unnecessary thoughts.
ABOUT ARTIST
Artist: Igor Bogoslavskis, Riga, Latvia. Date of birth 26/09/93
Since childhood, Igor has been a kind boy, but very vulnerable. He has always seen the world in a special way, and being very sensitive, he hardly perceives rudeness, aggression and other negative emotions. At the age of 14, his father, a journalist, died under unexplained circumstances, and that aggravated the boy’s nervous distress. Denied by society for his inability to communicate with the system according to generally accepted norms, Igor lives alone and finds the meaning of life in creating strong pictures on canvases and boards, as well as in music – he writes songs.
He dares to argue with God about the injustice and cruelty of human suffering. All this is reflected in the works of the young artist – depth, despair, hope, tenderness, passion, loneliness, the eternal search for love … And everyone knows such feelings.
His works awaken souls and encourage awareness. The most important – Igor’s paintings open hearts.
